The makers of the Assassin's Creed series have never seized to amaze us. A year or so ago, the first game of the series (Assassin's Creed) came out. It was all the rage, everyone was talking about how amazing it was. From the beautiful graphics, to the straightforward action -- including climbing and free running. Assassin's Creed was in one word, "Awesome!"
Nothing like sneaking up to someone and stabbing them with your wrist blade.
So, this past week in gaming Assassin's Creed II came out. Of course, it HAD to live up to it's predecessor's success. Which, in my own opinion, it even exceeded it's success.
Let's get down to business; the main critique of the first game was that the game play was repetitive. Which, in Assassin's Creed II since the game is more woven into the story, it directly affects the missions, making them more interesting to do.
Second, there are quite a few new features such as swimming, pick pocketing, and apparently you now get a villa to go to when you don't want to stab someone in the face. Read the whole (p)review here.
Overall, the game has been immensely improved from the last one. And I can't wait to play it.
I give this game, 10 dutch martial artists out of 10!
